  I have been enrolled at the Stanley College about 5 months since March 2013. Despite the excellent and very qualified teacher I had the pleasure to be taught from, there is nothing good left in this school. The services provided are awful. Most of classes are very small, and sometimes we could not even fit the people inside the room in a comfortable manner. The laptops provided were very old, slow and most of them had several issues. Once it took me 1.5 hours (trying different laptops) to be able to get ready to start my assignments. The internet connection was the slowest I ever dealt with in my life. When a few people were connected at the same time, It took several minutes to update a single web page!!
  Classes have not enough power points, resulting in cables running all over the class, not respecting therefore the health and safety legislation.
  Anyway....let s talk about the staff.
  The teachers I dealt with seemed to be ok but few people I dealt with working in the office were unprofessional or badly trained.
  For instance the day I got enrolled in the school I asked to the person in charge of enrollments: What is the difference between the business and management courses? She was in total panic and after a while she said: one is referred to businesses and the other gives you managerial skills. Thats it? Should I choose a course based just on this information??
  Another example is the following: the person in charge of the feedback brought us in the computer lab. Once we started our feedback she was walking around behind every student, checking therefore what people were writing (the feedback included a question about her as well) and if someone was talking she was yelling and frightening at them.
  What about the money? This school offers installments to pay the fee.
  I did not even finish my first semester (for which I paid in total), since I got sponsored in the meantime and a couple of months later I receive a call from the school asking me to pay the second semester for a total of 3900 dollars. What?? Are you kidding me?? They should be ashamed to ask money this way to people who are struggling to remain in Australia, to people who came here hoping to start a new life, in an honest country.
  As educational provider, If this is the message they give to students, I think therefore this school is a total failure and gives wrong values to people, since I believe Australia is a great country with lot of possibilities for everyone and I want to give people this message: life is great, but never let people take advantage of you. Fight for what you believe in and together we can get rid of dishonest people.
